Our business has always been about people.
Helping to build strong industry and community relationships that
benefit the people involved in the Information Technology industry
has always been a core commitment for Project One.
Playing a leadership
role in our industry
Project One is a leading member
of the NACCB (National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses),
our industry’s largest national trade association. Comprised
of more than 400 member companies that produce more than $15 billion
in annual revenue, the NACCB promotes high ethical standards, legislative
and public relations advocacy, education and training, products
and services, as well as networking opportunities.
Granting financial scholarships
for IT students in our community
Project One is committed to developing
the IT professionals of tomorrow and strengthening our domestic
Information Technology industry. As Founding Members of the Open
Door Education Foundation, we grant scholarship funds to
high school students in financial need who wish to pursue careers
in IT. By helping make education accessible to these young, ambitious
students, we improve our economy and create goodwill in our community.
We are also Founding members
of the Heroes for IT Scholarship Fund. This fund, formed
after September 11, grants scholarships to the immediate family
members of victims of that tragedy.
Sponsoring industry symposiums,
conferences and roundtables
Project One brings together
executives from IT, Vendor Management, IT Finance and Human Resources
to discuss industry trends, best practices, legal and legislative
issues, and other topics that affect our industry. These periodic
gatherings are a great way for clients to stay abreast of recent
developments in their field and at the same time to meet their peers
and develop business and personal relationships in a casual business
setting.
